Mayfair Clubs is committed to offering a comprehensive junior tennis programs. Junior development takes time and commitment. Each stage builds on athletic abilities and tennis specific skills. As they develop, junior players will be integrated into recreational club programming including house leagues and club ladders. Whether your child is simply interested in learning a new sport and developing their athletic abilities or they have a passion for competition, Mayfair Clubs will provide the development and training they need to achieve success in tennis.
Progressive Tennis is an interactive and fun approach to learning the game. With the use of smaller rackets, court sizes, and low compression balls, learning the game has never been so easy and fun. Kids will learn the fundamentals of the game that will set the foundation to pursue the game recreationally or competitively.
PROGRAMS OFFERED:
Red/Orange/Green (1 hour, 5:1 ratio) Mayfair Clubs Kids Tennis is an interactive and fun approach to tennis, with the use of smaller racquets, smaller courts and an easy to control ball. All participants will be assessed and placed according to their skill level. Juniors will learn to hit basic strokes, such as forehand, backhand, volley, overhead and serve. They will also learn to rally and play competitive games. Note: Multiple groups of five may take place on the same full court as per Tennis Canada Guidelines.
Green (2 hours, 4:1 ratio) This program focuses on technical and tactical development through interactive drills, competitive point and game play. Students in this program are competitive and aimed at tournament play.

Teen Tennis (6:1 ratio) his program is geared toward kids who want to pursue tennis in a fun recreational atmosphere. The purpose of this program is to instill the love of the game for life and to promote physical activity. Players will be exposed to more advanced game strategies and technical refinement, ideal for players participating in leagues and OTA tournaments.
OTA Advanced (4:1 ratio) Players will be exposed to more advanced game strategies and technical refinement. Ideal for players participating in leagues and OTA tournaments.
Competitive Program (U10, U12, U14, U18) The competitive program is for kids wanting to pursue tennis at a higher level, and participate in provincial tournaments, and team competitions. The program will focus on continuous technical, tactical, physical, and mental development. Registration into the competitive program is by invitation or by tryout. Please inquire about tryout dates for each session.
Junior House League This program offers kids the opportunity to participate in match play in a fun competitive environment which will prepare them for league and tournament play. Kids will receive instruction on the rules and etiquette of the game along with learning basic tactics.
