Summer Camp: Parents' Concerns
Anxiety about sending kids to camp is normal

Being a successful camp parent
Many children today are raised in a protective environment, where parents walk or drive them to school and arrange structured play dates. For moms and dads who are reluctant to let their sheltered children even walk to the end of their own street alone, the thought of sending kids off to a residential summer camp can be downright overwhelming.

My child's ready for camp, but I'm not
As a parent you want to expose your child to a range of activities that provide opportunities for growth, development and learning. Camp is a perfect fit.

You are likely more nervous about your child going to camp for the first time than he or she is, but don't let that hold your child back.

Of course, you'll miss your children if they're away, but don't deny them the chance to gain from a rewarding experience and be part of a unique community.
