Glee Camps
|
Glee Camps are ideal for budding stars, usually from 8 to 17 years old, whether they are fans of the FOX show Glee or just love performing live. Glee camps, by-and-large day camps for preteens and teens, run for one or two weeks, culminating in a final performance. Summer is the perfect time for kids to explore their creative talents in camp. For example, kids and teenagers interested in learning edgy moves taught to the beat of modern music can sign up for a dance camp featuring the pop and lock moves of hip-hop. There are several half-day or full-day dance camps that teach various types of dances for children ages three and up.
Glee camps may run for several weeks and usually focus on intensive dance instruction. Camps might include focused classes with a variety of styles to choose from including salsa, jazz, ballet, African, Bollywood, and hip-hop. Many glee camps have acting, singing and dancing; campers who love dancing and acting but are not so sure about their other skills can try out for what suits them best. Campers can meet other kids with similar interests and form great friendships. They also get to measure their own talent and skills against peers.
