How do you find the right sports camp?
Here are some tips on choosing the right sports camp for your child:

Remember that different camps offer different philosophies toward sports: do you want your child to be more aggressive, or do you want your son or daughter to learn more about teamwork and/or the benefits of a less competitive attitude toward sports? Read the camp promotional material closely or speak to the sports camp's representatives to find out what philosophy the camp professes and in fact practices.
Does the camp merely include the sport you are interested in or does it in fact specialize in improving kids' performance in that activity? And if so, what reputation does it have for improving kids' performance?
Do you want to fully immerse your child in the sports camp? If so you can cross-reference overnight camps with the kind of sport you or your kids are interested in, using our camp search engine.
Find out the camps' policies concerning children's safety and security and what safeguards are in place to protect you child from all contemporary threats.
