There's no better way to hone your court skills over summer than to spend a week or two at a tennis summer camp. Our Kids lists both camps that offer tennis as an activity and camps that specialize in tennis instruction. How to find the right tennis camp

Be sure that the summer camp specializes in and focuses on tennis - if that's what you are looking for. If you want to offer your child a rounded experience, you can send him or her to a sport camp that incorporates some tennis. Check the camp listing to understand its degree of focus on tennis.
Residential or overnight camps offer your child the opportunity to fully immerse her or himself in tennis. On the other hand, a tennis day camp offers your child the chance to separate his or her personal life from a day full of tennis instruction.
Even among camps that focus on tennis, there are varying degrees of expertise. Learn as much as you can about the background and reputation of the tennis camps you are considering.

Toronto Tennis Camp

Tennis is an underrated sport - not nearly as popular as some other sports. If a child has the right basic skills and proper training (as offered at a tennis camp) he or she may find tennis to be their sports niche.
