Camp Photos – a thought for Parents

I was thrilled to see this summer camp photography comic strip from Edge City in a recent blog postSummer camp photography - a thought for parents from the Edge City Comic strip.   As we have discussed in CampNation (our podcast for summer camp directors and professional camp staff), camps are working to find a good balance between showing parents what is going on for their child at camp AND allowing that child to have their own space to grow.

Many camps are using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and online photo services to give parents a weekly (or daily) glimpse in to life at summer camp.

Summer camp starts this week in Ontario.  Watch the blog for  stories from campers, counsellors and directors over the next two months.

What would you prefer - seeing photos from camp everyday or listening to the stories from your son or daughter when they get home?
