Since 1961, Montcrest School has prided itself on being a school that serves the individual needs of its students. Since its humble beginnings in 1961, it has been devoted to small classes and focused on differentiated instruction to help students achieve their full potential.
With a student population of 300 children, Montcrest is small enough to honour the individual and big enough to provide an exceptional academic experience with balanced opportunities in leadership, the arts, and athletics.
Montcrest School is a place where children are greeted by name every day and treated with respect, where they are encouraged to have fun in their learning, and where their sense of childhood wonder is nourished. It is a school where students are challenged to go further while at the same time honoured for who they are, and where their specific learning needs are met.
The goal of Montcrest School is to provide children at the elementary level with a solid academic foundation for success throughout their education.
Students participate in an enriched program that includes: art, drama, music, health and physical education, technology, community outreach as well as life and social skills.

Montcrest School invites families to visit their Open House on November 18, 2011. The Open House will take an informal drop-in format from 9:30 to 11:00 am at their school on 658 Broadview Ave. Toronto, ON M4K 2P1. Student ambassadors will lead visitors through a tour of the school’s facility and you will have an opportunity to meet and chat with faculty members as well as students.
