Day Nine
Sarah came over for a visit and dinner with us. I showed her how to play my Nintendo game and gave her one of my GO-GOs. She took it and tied it to her Olympic Pass. She told me that she was very happy that her friends had done well in the Olympics and that if one of them wins, they we all win. She said that we train together and push each other to do our best. I like Sarah very much.
Day Ten
Sarah’s brother Nik thought that our pool was the same temperature as in the Atlantic Ocean next to his house in Dartmouth. So he jumped in. We have never had a person in our pool in February. Nik says the pool was 8 degrees and cold.
Day Eleven
“It is time for Sarah’s bothers to go home. I will miss them. We took Mr and Mrs Conrad to our beach in West Vancouver to see our Totem Pole, like the one in the opening ceremonies. They loved all the flowers and Cherry trees and said that it had snowed in Nova Scotia.”
