What do NBA Mega Star Steve Nash, Team Canada rugby star Rugby Star Ed Fairhurst, Flickr CoFounder Stuart Butterfield and Victoria BC all have in common? Why its St. Michaels University School of course!.
Come and check out their old stomping ground at the St. Michael University School’s upcoming Open House!
Although St. Michaels University School is known for its celebrity athletes and famous alumni, it is also universally recognized for its academic performance and excellence. With the largest and most successful Advanced Placement program in Canada, SMUS is a school of solid formation.
What’s the driving force behind their dominating sports program and scholastic excellence you wonder? Why not come to their open house on Friday October 21, 2011 and see it all for yourself.
Upon visiting the school, you’ll immediately notice the source of the school’s elegant reputation. It’s their educational philosophy combined with their rigorous academic and sports programs. Their moto “To learn, to lead, to serve; discovering the promise in ourselves and the world.”
At the very root of St. Michaels philosophy is their goal to help each student find and develop the path that’s right for them then give them the guidance and the resources they need. This has been their mission since 1906 and has led them to be one of the most learner-centered university preparatory environments in Canada.
Parents will be quickly attracted to the school’s Advanced Placement Program (AP), a program that allows high-school students to earn university level credits while still in high-school. With different 24 AP courses offered, more SMUS students write AP exams than at any other school in Canada!
Still interested? If so, come and visit the school on Friday, October 21.
