JUNIOR CAMPS (ages 5-7):

 

Week 1, July 3-6: IMAGINE & PLAY

Imaginations will come to life in a fun-filled week at Black Creek Pioneer Village! Campers will be welcomed into a lively 19th-century village to explore, play, build, bake, and learn!

Week 2, July 9-13: PLANTS AND ANIMALS

Get up close with all of Black Creek’s gardens and farm animals. Have fun digging in the soil, harvesting fresh fruit, and keeping our farmyard friends company!

Week 3, July 15-20:

Join a team of fellow aspiring witches and wizards and become enchanted by the magic of the village! Go to magic school, learn tricks and spells, play quidditch, and make a magic potion!

Week 4, July 23-27: SPECTACULAR SUPERHEROES

It’s easy to have fun when you’re a superhero! Campers will design their own characters and help save the Village from peril. Join our team of pioneer protectors and conquer a new challenge each day!

Week 5, July 30-Aug 3: SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY ADVENTURE!

Calling all junior detectives! We need you to come help solve Black Creek’s latest mystery. Spend the week searching for clues and interrogating suspects. Enjoy a special visit from Dr. Watson!

Week 6, Aug 7-10: IMAGINE & PLAY

SENIOR CAMPS (ages 8-12):

 

Week 1, July 3-6: A STEP INTO THE PAST  

Dive into the day-to-day life of an 1860s child in our classic pioneer camp! Play old-time games, bake on a wood stove, have fun in a one room schoolhouse, and much more!

Week 2, July 9-13: FANTASTIC FOOD I: FLOWER POWER

Discover where food comes from by witnessing the amazing power of flowers! Visit the village bee colony, harvest ingredients from around the village, and, best of all, prepare and enjoy a different old-fashioned treat each day!

Week 3, July 16-20: CRAFTY CAMPERS  

Put down the tablet and get ready to use your hands! Practice 19th-century craft skills including sewing, woodworking, and weaving. Bring home an exciting new creation each day! ​

Week 4, July 23-27: EXPERT EXPLORERS  

Travel back to the vast Toronto forests of the early 1800s and explore the lives of Indigenous peoples and new settlers! Campers will find out what it took to live in Canada’s wilderness by building shelters, discovering nature, and making survival food.

Week 5, July 30-August 3: FANTASTIC FOOD II: BUCKETS O’ BERRIES

It's mid-summer, the weather is gorgeous, and the village is full of nature's bounty! Pick fresh berries, learn about edible wild plants, and prepare a delicious summer treat each day!

Week 6, August 7-10: A STEP INTO THE PAST
