I had the best time ever at camp serving as a cabin leader. Not only was I able to grow spiritually by spending more time with God, I also learned to love the kids in my cabins. They really taught me a lot. A lot of the questions they asked me really provoked my thoughts and made me think. I will definitely treasure that precious month I spent in camp. School is really tiring and I really miss camp, I am in my senior year and I will be graduating this year.
Camp Cherith truly is a great place for campers and staff to develop their private relationships with God. I would like to return for about 1 to 3 weeks next summer if you will accept me as a cabin leader again.
Sincerely yours, Steve
Overall, I learned that it's extremely important to thoroughly analyze all that we read
"Everything was very welcoming, professional and organized. They loved the activities and their leaders. The food was kid friendly but healthy (this from a picky eater). Thank you for everything."
"Camp Cherith, you both, and the many, many incredible people that have spent their summers there, have been responsible for changing all three of our children's lives for eternity. There are so few leaders, to our knowledge, that are willing to lead with uncompromisingly high standards. From what we hear from our boys you are just such leaders. We thank God for you."
"When we picked up our daughter she had a smile from ear to ear, stories to share and songs to sing. She asked me if she could come back again. I think that explains it all since this was her first experience at a sleepover camp."
"Not only was my daughter happy at camp again, I was pleased with how each and every question I asked was quickly and adequately answered. The staff are consistently 'kid friendly', positive and seem to love their service at camp."
