Engineers are often described as leaders of change and innovation. Being a good leader is an important part of being a good engineer. As a Leader-in-Training (LIT), you will participate in modules to develop your leadership potential and essential skills such as conflict resolution, communications and problem solving. These skills and tools will also help to enhance your self-confidence ? another important attribute of good leaders.
The Leadership Camp includes a range of training modules designed to prepare you to take on meaningful leadership roles in your school and community. These modules are further complemented by our surroundings at Gull Lake, enabling you to learn wilderness and survival skills hand-in-hand with an intentional leadership focus.
