Hello Camp Families!

Since 1979 Harbourfront Centre Camps has provided opportunities for exploration, creativity and personal growth within a positive camp atmosphere where participants are inspired through meaningful participation and enriched experiences in all facets of arts and contemporary culture.  Camp provides a unique setting in which learning and fun intersect and critical life skills are honed.  Therefore, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and diverse learning community that allows our participants to learm from and interpret the world in which we live through dialogue, social interaction and facilitated hands-on activities.

The 2016 camp season was our busiest yet! Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated staff, on-going support from our camp families and nearly 7,000 campers we truly had a summer to remember.

In our continued pursuit of excellence, we are pleased to announce a number of new camps for the upcoming year, such as: Urban Fishing, Sk8: Art & Design, Survivor Camp, Camp Reptilia, Intro to Drawing and Painting, and more!

Harbourfront Centre is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization.  By sending your children to our camps you are supporting all of the outstanding programmes and events that Harbourfront Centre offers.  Revenue generated from our camp programme enhances Harbourfront Centre as a whole, and for that we truly appreciate your enduring support!

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to another outstanding year of fun, diverse, dynamic and creative programming at Harbourfront Centre Camps!

Feedback from our 2016 Season!

"Everyone loved everything about camp"

"He had a fantastic time and always enjoys the great counselors and activities"

"My son absolutely loved the Camp.  He went for one week without a friend and could not have been happier.  I found everything about the process easy."

"All the programs were fantastic. They loved the variety of activities that were planned each day, the counselors were very helpful and fun."

"He loved the whole experience and talked for weeks after about coming back."

"My son had a great time at canoe camp - he spoke highly of his counselors and the activities"

"She LOVED her Camp experience. She thought it was a good mix of fun and challenge"

"Totally loved it. Wished they had started coming 2 years earlier (their own words)."

"My son loved his counselors.  The two counselors had a huge impact on my son.  I cannot even begin to describe it.  I had registered him for 2 weeks and he asked for one more week to be with these two incredible young men.  As a parent, I am thankful that he had the opportunity to spend time with these two.  Very positive influence!!"

"My daughter came home every afternoon speaking very highly of her camp counselors."

"Yes, so much! Everyday we picked her up was "the best day ever"."

"The choice of camps for older children was amazing!  I had trouble looking for things to do this summer with my new 14 year-old and Harbourfront Centre Camps gave her an opportunity to DO something instead of just sit at home.  There was an amazing variety and I was so pleased to  have been told by my friend!  I find most camps only focus on younger children but kids between the ages of 10-14 need to be active and stimulated too.  Thank you for making her summer all that much more interesting during the day when parents need to be at work."

"She had a wonderful time, and is already looking forward to going next summer."
