March Break Camp means a whole lot of fun - with LEGO® Robotics and Minecraft!

Mornings at camp will be focused on building and programming with LEGO® Robotics - an exciting way to get children interested and involved in science, technology, engineering, and math. kids n bricks uses a hands-on approach to learning, where students build and program robots that can speak, walk, follow commands - and so much more!  LEGO® Robotics is an excellent introduction to computer programming for all children.  It is fun, it is challenging, and kids are successful.  More than just building computer programming skills, kids build confidence in their abilities. Programming with LEGO® Robotics is an ideal springboard to coding in advanced computer programming languages like Python, C#, C++, and Java.  Our goal is to help kids develop the relevant, transferable skills that will carry them forward to future success - and for them to be engaged and challenged every step of the way!

Afternoons at camp will be for Minecraft - with a twist!  The children will explore and learn about a wide variety of curriculum subjects - computer science, digital technology, business, math, gaming, geography, language arts, visual arts, history - which will be explored using the Minecraft Education platform.  Essentially, the kids will be playing Minecraft - at least, that is what they will be focused upon.  However, by using the Minecraft Education platform, we structure their play so that every day they are learning in these subject areas - they just don't realize that they are learning.  To them, it is just fun - and that philosophy and approach to learning is at the heart of everything we do.

All Robotics materials and laptops and accounts are provided for the campers.

Campers must bring their own snacks and lunch.

We also have lots of outdoor activity time, and breaks so that they can switch gears, clear their minds, play games, and do "camp" stuff.
