Intro to Coding classes introduce students to the basics of computer programming, using a user-friendly interface.

“Coding” and “Programming” are terms with a subtle difference in meaning, although many people use them to mean the same thing.

Our Coding classes teach students sequencing, logic, and critical thinking skills.

Our teachers provide guidance and support as students progress through the curriculum at a self-directed pace - with full access to support as needed, and able to branch out in practical applications as they master new skills.

Once they have learned the fundamentals of coding, they move on to building video games, modding Minecraft, and creating phone apps.

This course lays a solid foundation for further study in this field.

Intro to Coding is well-suited to visual learners, students with strong visual-spatial skills, and those who enjoy hands-on learning.
