This course introduces students to formalized programming with Python, an object oriented programming language, like C++ and C#.  

Python is a highly organized and structured language, which reinforces the practice of good programming habits and organized code.  

Google, Yahoo, Disney, Dropbox, Pinterest, Reddit, and IBM are just some of the more well-known companies that use Python.  

Closer to home, this is the language being taught to students at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University’s Engineering and Computer Science faculties.  

Angel List 2015 listed Python as the second most-demanded skill, and the skill with the highest average salary.  

Python developers are highly in demand, as Python can be easily integrated into web applications to carry out tasks that require machine learning.
