Our Media Studies course focuses on several important aspects of today's digital media-based world:

Students learn how to create and progressively build their own YouTube channel - anyone can set one up, but there is so much more to developing a thriving presence on the web on this very powerful platform.

Students are introduced to the basics of photo and video editing, and audio splicing - important elements that will enable them to produce original content for their channel.

We spend time learning about online safety - both how vitally important it is, and how to actually behave in a safe manner in the online space - another increasingly essential skill for today's kids.

Students also create their own website.  In the process, they develop a plan, which will feed how they build and add to the site, to express their message and achieve their goals for the site.

Students learn about different social media platforms, and explore how they can contribute to the success of their YouTube Channel and website.

In short, this course is a digital dream for kids!

We have seen many budding entrepreneurs take off with their original ideas, and start to create a real presence for themselves online.
