Planning for Your Young Artists Creative Future?

This 8-week course is designed for entry into post-secondary art programs such as fine arts, animation, graphic design, industrial design, fashion design, interior design, and other art programs that require a portfolio for entrance for Fall 2019. Under the mentorship of the Instructor and support from guest TSA Faculty, all of whom are practicing artists with specialized knowledge in various industries and admissions requirements, students will develop new portfolio pieces as well as practical tools and skill sets including: studio-based project development, concept development, documentation, and writing an artist statement.
Notes: An interview is required prior to registration. Please contact the office for booking and registration.

We also offer Independent Study Options

Personal Critiques offer any TSA student, high school or post-secondary arts student, and practicing artists at any career level an opportunity to meet with a professional artist from the TSA Faculty for a consultation, evaluation, or critique of their art work.

The consultation can provide constructive feedback or direction for developing work or applying for a post-secondary art program. Individuals can select a specific TSA Faculty member to review their work if they wish.

A one-hour session includes advice and direction in areas such as building one’s artistic skills, identifying strengths, exploring new mediums, or navigating the art scene. Critiques are available in painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, installation, printmaking, photography, digital, film/video, new media, community and performance art

Please note:

*Consultation Cards expire six months from purchase and are not redeemable for cash

Promotional Discounts cannot be applied to Independent Study options. Consultation Cards are nonrefundable and must be used within one year of purchase. Independent Study options will be subject to an additional registration fee.

Independent Study Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be more than 2 business days (48 hours) before the booked session date and time for a refund. A $20 cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds if cancellation is requested after this period. Students may try reschedule if prior to 48 hours without penalty.
