INTRODUCTORY TO INTERMEDIATE LEVELS
Saturday 12:45 pm - 3:45 pm, Oct. 17 - Dec. 5 (8 weeks)
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of drawing, including contour, gesture, value, perspective, foreshortening, surface treatment, and composition. Emphasis will be placed on learning to see and experience the world from the artist’s viewpoint. Classes will be structured combinations of shorter exercises and longer, more developed drawings. A variety of wet and dry drawing media will be used.
