PROGRAMS

 

Ages 4-6

 

Jolly Phonics - children will learn or get a chance to practice their phonics in a fun and educational way. 

 

Lego Building - what can be better than building with Lego. We have many sets to choose from or create own projects from thousands of loose bricks. Children will develop their attention to detail, attention span, memory, imagination and more in this fun camp.

 

Hands on with Animals - interact hands on with some of our animals, learn how to care for them! Once in a lifetime opportunity to make some furry or scaly new friends. Animals in the program include: Sugar gliders, hedgehogs, Mongolian gerbils, Bunnies, Chinchillas, Ferrets, Snakes, bearded dragons and more! 

 

Academics - we'll work with your child on individual level to help them excel. Program will include Math, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Spelling. We'll spend the week to help your child with specific areas they struggle with. Short consultation will be set with the parents to understand needs and expectations.

 

Pottery Painting - your child will get to enjoy painting many fun projects including boxes, banks, figurines, other. Various brush strokes will be introduced and the campers will have a chance to express themselves creatively on bisque. Lots of fun for those who love to paint and those with little painting experience.

 

French - The focus of  the french camp program is to promote French conversation outside of an academic environment. The level and expectations of french are adapted for each age group. During the day, we place campers in situations where they use their french while doing fun activities. Children do not require prior knowledge of French to attend these programs.French Camp daily activities include: Organized sports, arts or crafts, cooperation games and board and card games. Each day will end with a big camp game that will see all campers from all the different groups come together to play.Campers will also take part in a creativity club. 

 

Spelling Bee - children will get to practice spelling through fun games. Our goal is to make them love to spell! Spelling level will be assessed on first day and children will be challenged but not over extended to succeed and have fun in this learning camp. Spelling bee competition will be held daily.

 

Ages 7-9

 

Clay Making - Explore the fundamentals of creating with clay using coil, pinch pot, slab and other sculpting techniques to create a variety of functional and decorative objects.Campers will learn various hand building techniques. Pieces will be kiln fired and ready for pick up within three weeks.

 

Social Artworking - Youngsters will create beautiful 12" x 12" canvas paintings building their confidence and love of art for life!

 

Amazing Art - children will get a chance to create many fun projects, including: Rainbow Loom, Pottery painting, mosaics, oregami, drawing, cartooning and canvas painting.

Lego Minecraft - Mining and Crafting 2Steve is jumping for joy as he introduces the newest member of his Minecraft ® world. Whether or not your child has attended our first camp, reward them with creativity and excitement this new camp has to offer.  Campers will be challenged to bring their virtual designs to life by building new mob figures, mosaics and custom models, incorporating LEGO® Bricks.  So are you ready for the challenge?

​Drop Off & Pick-Up

 

Camp programs begin at 9:00 a.m. unless you have registered for extended hours. Please drop off your child at the Camp sign-in area. Children MUST be picked up promptly after programs or evening extended care. Late pick up charges will apply. Photo ID must be presented by those authorized to pick up campers each day. There will be a late pick-up fee of $20.00 after 4:00 p.m. for campers not registered in Extended Care.

 

Lunch and Snacks

 

Campers must provide their own lunches, snacks, and drinks. Refrigeration for lunches, snacks, and drinks is not available. Please ensure that all lunches and snacks are Nut Free. Adult supervision is provided for all campers over the lunch hour and during breaks.

 

Class Size & Instruction

 

Class sizes range from 5 to 15 campers, depending on age and program. Your child’s camp experience is prepared and delivered by a qualified team of Instructors, Assistants and Volunteers. Camp Directors have previous camp experience, police check on record and first aid / CPR training. 

 

Withdrawals

 

If you wish to cancel your registration, requests must be received in writing at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. An administration fee of $25 will be charged for each cancellation. After this period, any cancellation requests must be accompanied by a medical certificate in order to receive a refund. You will be refunded for unattended days, less a $25 administration fee.Wise Adventures reserves the right to de-register a camper if he or she is deemed to be incompatible with the program. A refund will be issued for all unattended program days.

 

Cost

 

Half day (9am - 12pm or 1pm - 4pm): $50

Full Day (9am to 4pm): $90

Full week AM or PM (9am - 12pm or 1pm - 4pm): $229 

Full week (9am - 4pm): $399

 

Extended Hours AM (7am-9am): $10 per day / $40 per week

Extended Hours PM (4pm-6pm): $10 per day / $40 per week

Extended Hours AM & PM: $15 per day / $60 per week

 

Hot Lunch

 

Children are required to bring their own lunch, snack (peanut free please!) and drinks, but we can provide them with a slice of pizza & drink for $5.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE A CHILD WITH A PEANUT ALLERGY ATTENDING OUR PA DAY CAMP. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY PEANUT PRODUCTS TO OUR FACILITY.
