The Smash Tennis Inc, program has been providing tennis instruction to toddlers, youths and teens for 11 years. Tennis is an ideal opportunity for kids from beginner to advanced level players to get involved in a fun and healthy activity, one that could last a lifetime! Smash Tennis Inc, and our enthusiastic, passionate coaches are dedicated towards creating a love of recreational and competitive tennis in all students, and we are pleased to be able to offer lessons all year round.
From 4 year old beginners to advanced level adults, the coaches of Smash Tennis will ensure that all students progress both technically and tactically throughout each and every lesson. Students may choose from a variety of lesson options, including group session packages, week to week group lessons, private and semi private lessons, as well as Holiday Break and Summer Camp programs. We encourage you to speak to the coaches directly to develop the most appropriate training program for your child.
ADVANCED PROGRESSIVE TRAINING SUMMER CAMP is located at our Garnet Williams Community Centre site, and is a high intensity camp that is designed for players ages 4 - 12, who are interested in developing their skills to become a tournament level player. Internationally utilized Progressive Training techniques will be used to expedite the learning process.
HIGH PERFORMANCE SUMMER CAMP is located at our Yonge and Centre site. Our High Performance Camp is designed for tournament level players, ages 8 - 17, in pursuit of tennis excellence through fun, progressive and efficient learning techniques as a means of reaching their maximum potential and achieving personal goals. High Performance Program Goals include; detailed work on technical elements, specific attention to proper footwork, designing a playing style according to the physical and mental ability of the player and an individual fitness program which satisfies the game style of the player.
Summer Camp Structure: The Morning consists of 2 hours of tennis, followed by 1 hours of multiple sports to develop footwork speed, agility, flexibility. The afternoon program includes 1 ½ - 2 hours of tennis and 1 hour supervised recreational swimming (optional), otherwise tennis and multiple sports. Full Day campers on Fridays receive a pizza lunch. All other days, campers must bring their own “peanut-free” lunch. Summer camp before and after care programs are also available.
