Discovery Programs offer opportunities to improve academic skills in a fun, rewarding way. Students will practice skills and learn new strategies in an energized, positive atmosphere. Summer staff - who are the same experienced, specialized teachers who make our school work during the academic year - create a safe, student-centered environment and motivate campers to try new things and find their strengths. Campers make new friends, discover new interests and talents, and learn to confidently explore - perhaps finding a knack with computers, a flare for writing poetry, or a love of swim- ming.

Discovery Programs can be either Half-Day ($300 per week), running from 9:30 until 12:30 or Full Day ($540 per week) running from 9:30 until 4:00 pm. Before and after care also available.

ALL Discovery Programs:

  • offer individualized, student-centered teaching and mentorship
  • teach and practice Language Arts, Reading, and Mathematics skills in enjoyable, themed units - build creativity and self-confidence which campers can carry into their school years
  • teach social and teamwork skills in a natural, respectful way
  • teach skills and strategies around test-taking, project-completion, study skills, and essaywriting - introduce assistive technology programs and provide opportunities to apply these across the curriculum
