About this camp

highlights

The Drama School at Young People's Theatre is the oldest and largest of it's kind in Canada. As well as year-round classes and March Break camp, our Summer Drama Camp provides students entering Grades 1-12 with the opportunity to discover the power of their own creative voice.  Working with seasoned arts educators, they will explore the breadth of their imaginations by working collaboratively to create a unique piece of theatre. Senior students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of performance from devised theatre to film-making and music theatre. Join us for the thrill of creating and performing a new play yet to be imagined!

YPT is running full-day workshops on PA Days in the TDSB/TCDSB for children in Grades 1-3 and 4-6. Each full-day workshop will run from 9:00am to 3:30pm with early drop-off available from 8:30am. These sessions are being offered at the specially-discounted price of $40 or $55 per participant.

Participants will experience fun drama exercises led by great artist educators, culminating in a collaboratively-created “play in a day”.
