French camps offer programs from a basic level for students who want to begin studying French, up to an advanced level for students who wish to improve their French skills. An oral and written test may be conducted at some camps in order to assess a camper’s current level of French. Campers will then be placed in the camp class that best suits their needs. Students at French camps can develop their skills in listening, speaking, writing, reading, conversation and grammar in the French language.

French language camps

French immersion programs assist students learning in other ways, providing an enriched learning environment. Positive peer sharing encourages campers to reach a high potential.

Overnight camps in Quebec immerse kids in French language and culture. Camps also have various other activities like sightseeing, picnics, indoor games and sports.

At French camps, all communication focuses on the deepening of vocabulary, syntax and understanding of the French language. From the beginning to the end of this highly intensive linguistic immersion, including outings, classroom interaction and extra-curricular activities, everything is done in French.

French camps ensure that the student not only understands well but also speaks French well. The following elements are covered in these camps:
• Repertoire or vocabulary
• Verb structures
• Grammar and syntax
• Pronunciation
• Colloquial expressions
• Text and oral comprehension
• Oral and written expression
