Dedicated special needs classes and programs

Find schools with a class completed devoted to special needs education

Some schools have a class that’s exclusively devoted to special education, which runs parallel to regular classes. These classes offer a self-contained environment for special education, where each student receives support for their special needs. They’re usually run by instructors with training and expertise in special education.

Dedicated special needs classes provide full-time support for their students. Teachers and staff provide specialized programs and support for students with different kinds of special needs, including learning, developmental, physical, and behavioural disabilities. They do so through a wide range of accommodations, modifications, and treatments.

Below, we list private schools in Canada which have a dedicated or segregated special needs class. Click on a school’s profile to learn more about it, including its cost, location, special needs programming, and more.
