At Admiral Farragut Academy every student who is interested can participate on a sports team and can attend practice and games. Our “no cut” philosophy enables a student to belong to a team while finding which sport fits his or her personality and athletic ability. This experience helps a student develop coordination and improve his or her wellness. In addition, students build their character by working with others to achieve a common goal, no matter their skill level. Our coaches, most who work as teachers at Farragut, provide quality instruction, but more so, they guide students with an athletic philosophy built on sportsmanship. Because Farragut students have a connection akin to a family, athletic contests are an extension of this camaraderie.
