The Bayview Glen Ctrl-Z robotics team won a first place research award at the FIRST World Championship this weekend in St. Louis. Bayview Glen team members A. Alexiev, C. Alexiev, A. Mark, E. Liu and R. Low represented Ontario at the FIRST LEGO League (FLL). They competed against 105 teams from around the world. Ctrl-Z received the research award in recognition for the students extensive work developing the Rhythm Ramp. Supported by their outstanding coaches, the students shared their innovative solutions with a diverse audience at the competition including several judges and experts in the field. Earlier this year, Ctrl-Z won the provincial championships securing the team’s spot at the World’s in St. Louis. The five students have arrived back in Toronto and will share their incredible experiences with other members of the extensive robotics club at Bayview Glen.
