Many of our Braemar families took the opportunity to join our staff at our annual Back to School BBQ on Wednesday evening in our school gymnasium. This annual tradition, is a great way to get to know our teachers, reconnect with other families and meet new friends. Our students had a great time playing outside after supper and many of our families have shared positive feedback and appreciation since the event. Special thanks to Becky Larmer, Chair of the Parent Committee, and other members of the Parent Committee for their leadership and hard work in organizing this fun and delicious event.
A number of our Parents and Grandparents signed up to volunteer on our sign-up sheets. These sign-up sheets are currently up on the front bulletin board and will remain there for a few weeks. We appreciate the volunteer assistance of our families. The home-school connection is an important part of Braemar, and having parent volunteers is wonderful.
