We are excited to announce the launch of Cheryl Miller's book, The School that Fell from the Sky: The History of GCA. Almost at the 35 year mark, Glenmore Christian Academy's rich history has its humble beginnings in the clubhouse of the original First Alliance Church on Glenmore Trail. From 30 students originally, to over 800 students at present, GCA has triumphed through various challenges and continues to grow. As one of the original staff members, Cheryl will speak not just on the history of the building itself, but on the people who helped champion the school forward. This free event will be at First Alliance Church (12345 40 St SE) on Oct 3 at 7 pm. Desserts and coffee will be provided. Our Choristers past and present will also be performing. We invite all current families and past alumni to join us as we remember our strong history and reconnect. Books will be available for purchase by donation. Please RSVP to [email protected].
