Bow and Arrow, Reuben and the Dark - Waldorf Academy Inc. cover for Canada's Greatest Music Class. Waldorf Academy Wonder Fours! Waldorf Academy loves CBC so when we heard about the CBC music class contest there was an immediate agreement that we need to do this. Ms. Hilts, the music teacher, worked with grade 4 to create a version of Bow and Arrow that challenged each child to sing in harmony, play multiple intruments at their level and invited their feedback to create a beautiful class effort. Whether they win or not it was a wonderful group effort that will be cherished by the children and the teachers.
The submissions will be evaluated by a panel of musicians, CBC Music journalists and MusiCounts staff. The winner will be announced on Radio 2 Morning with Tom Power on Dec. 4.
The winner of Canada’s Greatest Music Class 2015 will get an assembly concert performance by a top Canadian musical artist for the entire student body as well as a commemorative plaque.
