On February 2, 2018 Canada Star Secondary School conducted the graduation ceremony for 5 of our graduates. Some of our graduates could not make it but were honoured in the ceremony as well. We also said our final goodbyes to one of our founding teachers, Ms. Takhar. We would like to Ms. Takhar for all her help and contributions to helping build up our school.
Teachers each prepared a speech that included their best advice to the graduates for continuing their studies and moving on into the working world. Students also prepared different presentations and performances to celebrate their fellow student's graduation. The ceremony was conducted in both English and Mandarin in order to accommodate the visiting parents from China. Translation of all speeches into Mandarin was done by the members of our student council.
