Hudson College is proud to announce that as a school we raised $1,233 in donations during the month of May for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) as part of our Daffodil Month campaign. Anika, from the Canadian Cancer Society visited Hudson on May 31, 2016 to present staff and students with an Appreciation Certificate in recognition of Hudson students generous donations. There to accept the Certificate on behalf of the student body were two Grade 6 boys, Amaan T. and Jackson T. (pictured above).
Thank you to all staff, students and familiy members who donated in May. A special thank you to one of our parents, Mrs. Thawer, herself a cancer survivor, for helping to organize our event, including getting the Daffodil pins and cupcakes. Also, a big thank you to our student volunteers in grades 6 and 7 who stationed themselves in the main lobby each day, you did a great job collecting donations!
