Hudson Heroes is a club at Hudson College where dedicated students join, and learn about the power of giving back to their community. Throughout November, the Hudson Heroes worked hard to sell over 1200 chocolate bars in order to raise money to buy gifts for the patients at Sick Kids. We were able to raise almost $4000!! We had a lot of fun buying all of the toys at Toys R Us, and when we delivered them to the hospital, the donations bin was overflowing! Thanks to all of the Hudson Heroes for their hard work on this initiative- all of your efforts are going to make a lot of children’s holidays a lot brighter! A special congratulations to our top chocolate sellers: Klara, Maya, Jahaan, and Jack and to all our Heroes who worked so hard to make the holidays a little brighter for the those children spending them at Sick Kids.
