Luther College celebrates 100 years

Luther College began as Luther Academy in Melville, Saskatchewan in 1913. Increasing demandfor space led to the relocation of the school (now the high school campus) to Regina, Saskatchewan in 1926, accompanied by the new name of Luther College. The university campus of Luther College opened in 1971 and became a federated college of the University of Regina in
1974.

On the Thanksgiving weekend of 2013 (October 11-13), Luther College celebrated one hundred years of quality education in Christian context. Over 450 alumni, faculty, staff and friends of Luther were in attendance for the weekend to honour and celebrate a century of faithfulness with an additional two hundred in attendance for the celebration banquet.
