Grade one is the beginning of an incredible journey that will impact your child forever! Our class is small and we want it to grow. Grade one students are matched with a grade 8 buddy on the first day of school during a Rose Ceremony to welcome all the grade one's to the community. We currently have 5 boys and 1 girl and a veteran Waldorf teacher that has successfully led to two classes from grade one to eight with outstanding results.
Waldorf education offers unique teaching tools that support whole brain learning incorporating left and right brain as well as the motor cortex. Our methods build cognitive reserve, promote impulse regulation, flexible thinking and emotional intelligence. Waldorf Academy offers an intimate school setting and a supportive learning environment for students of all abilities from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Children can benefit from low student to teacher ratios and the additional support of specialists subject teachers.
