The Lady Bisons are coached by Mrs. Jennifer Ridgewell and Ms. Leah Adelman. The team attends 4 to 5 tournaments during the season and participate in the West Central East Section volleyball league. On the last weekend of October we host the Annual Cliff Adelman Invitational Volleyball tournament- a highly competitive tournament that prepares participating teams for the following weekends of SHSAA playoffs.
There were a lot of people on campus last weekend for the Cliff Adelman Invitational Girls Volleyball tournament . We hosted seven girl teams from: Unity, Wakaw, Plenty, Loreburn, Clavet, Outlook and Harvest City. There were some good matches over the weekend and Wakaw and Unity played well all weekend, and found themselves in the final on Saturday night. Wakaw won the tournament for the second year in a row and for the fourth time since we renamed our girls’ annual volleyball tournament 5 years ago in honour of long-time coach and teacher Cliff Adelman.
