Robbins Hebrew Academy (RHA) students skipped their way through the month of March as they participated in Jump Rope for Heart. The Jump Rope for Heart program encourages kids to get active by skipping rope while they collect pledges for heart disease and stroke research.
Throughout the month, teachers and students demonstrated fun and creative ways to skip and the learned about the importance of exercising for your heart.
On Jump Rope for Heart event day, grades rotated in the gym to complete activities for a healthy heart. There were jump rope relays, a tug-of-war and lots of skipping, of course.
And the results are in! The RHA community raised a grand total of $9663 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation! What an amazing accomplishment and what an awesome community! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped our students accomplish their goals. RHA most certainly "has heart".
