The Sacred Heart School of Montreal offers a private bus service to and from Laval to accommodate a growing student population from Laval and areas north of Montreal. The bus carries Sacred Heart students on a non-stop route to and from the school, with a fixed pick-up and drop-off stop near Carrefour Laval. With a population growth rate that far exceeds the national average, it is no surprise that Laval families form an ever larger proportion of students at The Sacred Heart School of Montreal. Following a survey of parents at the school, Sacred Heart concluded that a dedicated bus route to Laval was no longer a luxury, but a necessity. The service was launched in September of 2015. This new route is in addition to a bus service already offered by the school to students on Montreal’s West Island.
“We have an increasing number of students from Greek, Italian, Spanish and other backgrounds coming to us from Laval, “ explains Head of School, Shawn O’Donnell. “They are telling their friends how much they love the school! For this reason, and due to increase demand, we have launched a new transportation service that is a unique Sacred Heart offer.”
