Founded as Scarborough Christian School in 1974 by a group of committed parents who wanted their children, and those of other families in the community, to receive a quality education. The school is dedicated to maintaining high academic standards, together with an underlying Christian philosophy that promotes good morals and good life skills. It was, and continues to be, a nondenominational, nonprofit, charitable organization, with a board of directors appointed by the members of the organization.
