Newton’s Grove School enjoyed an amazing inaugural athletic season this past year. A record 130 student/athletes were recognized at our 22nd annual athletic banquet for their achievements and success.
2013/14 will stand as our school’s most successful year ever in athletic competition. The Knights captured a record 6 individual titles and 10 varsity championships. The team success was possible thanks to all our student/athletes, as championship banners and plaques were earned by Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams.
Dylan Hastie, Sarah Biosah, Angelina Chen, Olivia Burke, and Jordan Abbas led all Primary students in intramural play and U10 varsity competitions. Meanwhile, the Juniors were led by Aidan Soth, Lea Meneguzzi, Luke Campeau, Rowan Sullivan Warr, Roanan Brown, Justin Yeung, Levi Panton, Manvir Bhangu, Holden Maron-Cole, and Russell Sprigings. The Intermediate sport scene was dominated by exemplary performances by Julien Borovnica, Anissa Moisson, Emily Yeung, and Jack Vickers. The seniors were led by the powerful trio of Ali Bush, Victoria Hady and Caleb Michalski.
