WINTER AT QUETICO COLLEGE SCHOOL

As we work to get ready for our first year in 2014, we can't help but be amazed by the beauty of our place. In this photo taken out one of the residence room windows, it's early morning. The sun is rising over a frozen but still misty Eva Lake, the snow is thick on the pine tree boughs and the only sound to be heard is the mysterious cawing of a raven.Today it will be cold, but there's so much to experience outside that, dressed warmly, the cold is not an issue. With all the hills on the property, today will be spent building a few more snowboard jumps.  What a contrast to urban areas, where the noise, confusion and rush of another day set a tone far different to what can be found here. Students looking for more personal time, less pressure time, will appreciate our location. Our small student group can take advantage of the close proximity to nature as they focus not only on their studies but the opportunities for leadership development and learning new skills. It really is different here.
