Founded in 1852 by the Basilian Fathers, St. Michael's College School stands as Ontario's only independent Catholic school for young men. The school offers an enriched, Catholic, liberal arts program that prepares young men for university and to carry on as leaders in their community. Our mission is to educate the whole person through the teachings of the Catholic Church and a demanding curriculum that extends beyond the classroom into our diverse array of co-curricular programs. Our campus is fully networked and offers students an opportunity to make use of modern research tools, electronic study aids, and state-of-the-art athletic, art and music facilities.
Each year, over 95 per cent of St. Michael's graduates are accepted at their university of first choice; approximately half of these graduates are recognized as Ontario Scholars. After graduation, your St. Michael's connection continues as a life-long bond is shared within a dynamic Alumni Association of over 7000 active members world-wide.
