TMS delivers a seamless, internationally-acclaimed educational experience designed to inspire and challenge students to discover the best of who they are and to achieve their full potential. Internationally recognized since 1961, TMS is a not-for-profit flagship Montessori school for students from age 18 months to Grade 6, and an International Baccalaureate World School for students from Grade 7 to Grade 12. Our program focuses on much more than simply mastering basic skills and knowledge. Our students develop fully in academics, arts, athletics and citizenship. Starting at 18 months of age, we help students to help themselves. Our students develop the confidence and higher level thinking skills necessary to make the most of whatever challenge they encounter. Students practise addressing difficult, real-life issues for which no single correct answer exists. In high school, each student’s learning is globally benchmarked against others in our IB program. At all ages, our students learn to take action to make positive differences in the school, the community and the world. We have excellent Lower (Bayview Campus) and Upper (Elgin Mills Campus) school facilities. TMS is accredited by IB, CIS, CAIS and CCMA.
