When you first come to Dwight, you will notice that the excitement is palpable: you can feel the energy in the corridors, sense the vibrancy of adventure in the halls, and grasp the wonder of discovery in the classrooms as students and faculty engage in authentic critical thinking. Our task at Dwight International School is to “ignite the unique spark of genius” within each student. Our teachers can change how a student thinks about himself or herself and, more importantly, how, as an individual, he or she relates to the world. Our goal is to build leaders who have the courage to take intellectual risks and the skills to communicate and work effectively with others.

Imagine a world full of peace because our students are equipped to solve conflict. Imagine eliminating hunger because our students have been immersed in compassion. Our goal is to seek innovative approaches to education. Thus the Dwight family of schools has extended its rich tradition by initiating ground-breaking online technology courses to connect our global community of schools. Through virtual classrooms, students in Canada, New York, and London are taking classes jointly on digital media education. We will be using virtual classrooms to foment trans-global discussions and debates on key IB Theory of Knowledge topics. The virtual classrooms shared amongst New York, Canada, London and Seoul will broaden our global perspective.

Our passion for educating future global leaders is at the center of our mission. We invite our students and our parents to explore the Dwight vision that includes a tapestry of International Baccalaureate programmes and varied extracurricular offerings that reflect our global mindedness.
