Master's degree in Sociology, International Montessori Diploma
Wish you all a very happy, healthy and peaceful new year.
Every new year promised to bring promises and hope to million of people the world over living in trying times and conflict-riddled places. I wish that they may find peace in their hearts and share it with others as well.
We have great exciting new events planned for the next six months at Abacus Montessori. february is Black History and International Month. Children at both schools will showcase and present to their peers a country of their choice. This will further strengthen their knowledge of those countries. Many new group projects have been planned for them as well.
We will also be taking in new registrations for the upcoming academic year. An exciting Art Camp has been planned for the March Break for our older children at the Don Mills Campus. In addition, this year our after-school clubs are geared towards teaching children foreign languages besides sports. We hope not only for them to understand and articulate the languages but also speak like natives.
We love to see our parents not just twice a day, each day but we have special events planned around Mother's and Father's Day as well. The big one, as usual is our annual Spring Concert scheduled for mid-June when both campuses come together to show off their talent. It would be a red-letter day for all of us and the children have already begun preparations for it.
Looking forward to a great year ahead and hope to embrace many more families within our fold,
