Dear Parents,

The French International School Coustau is the only French school in British Columbia. We are part of the global network of French schools abroad which now includes around 480 establishments in 130 countries. Our school is accredited by the French Ministry of Education. This means that the courses we provide are based on the same principles, teaching methods and curriculum than the ones used in French schools. The courses are in French of course and teachers are certified under the criteria of the ministry.

But, what makes the excellence, originality, and challenge of our school, is that it must also comply with Canadian regulations and programs. This articulation and complementarity between both education systems is a strength, since it ensures students develop their abilities in an environment that is bilingual, often even trilingual, bicultural and bi-curricular. Our school offers the best of France and Canada!

From the age of 3, your children learn French by following the requirements of both the French Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education of British-Columbia. Our school is officially accredited by the worldwide Agency for French Teaching Abroad (480 schools in 130 countries).
The School offers 2 bus services from Vancouver to North Vancouver as well as a before- and after-school daycare and a variety of after-school activities (Mandarin, Spanish, Study groups, Music, Theatre, Soccer, Cooking, Plastic Arts, and more!).

The French International School Cousteau is a private Traditional/ academic/Alternative day school in North Vancouver, British Columbia. The school offers programs for grades PS to 8 with enrolment of 150 day students. The French International School Cousteau has an average class size of 14 to 22 students and has a tuition cost of $8,525 to $10,875.
