The Good Samaritan School for Exceptional Students

This program is designed to include students who are identified with special needs and require support to function within the integrated school system. It is our desire to integrate all students into the classroom with typically functioning peers, in order to encourage social interaction and a sense of involvement and belonging in the school community as a whole. Students will spend the majority of their day integrated into the classroom with full time one-to-one support. They will follow the daily schedule and academic structure along with the rest of the class, with assignments adapted and modified by the EA to meet their learning level and needs. Our Good Samaritan Resource Room serves as an additional space for students and their Educational Assistants to work periodically to supplement the learning that occurs in the classroom.
