BHMS Celebrates 30 Years - BE PART OF THE HISTORY

Dear Alumni,

 

Somehow - despite your absence and mine from its daily routines - Bishop Hamilton Montessori School has reached the ripe old age of thirty! For a number of you, that ripe old age is a milestone you've already passed, and for me it is only a foggy memory. For the rest of you, the age of thirty is somewhere on the horizon, and when you reach it there will be suitable celebration, no doubt. For your former school, however, its thirtieth Birthday Party is imminent and you are invited!

On Saturday, September 28th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the celebration will take place at the school. Of course there will be food and music and games of all sorts, as well as fashion shows and an opportunity to attend a master class in music led by a certain BHMS alumnus.

 

The school is very proud of all its graduates. You are the reason the school has been able to continue providing excellent education to young people for the past thirty years. You are the evidence of the school's purpose and its vision. The alumni, therefore, will be guests of honour at this celebration!

 

I hope all of you can join us on September 28th to connect - or re-connect - with your fellow alumni, to meet many of your former teachers and to meet current students and staff of the school.

P.S. There is no requirement to wear your formal uniforms, but prizes will be awarded to alumni wearing their Hamilton tartan ties and bonus prizes will be given to alumni arriving by bicycle!

Since opening our doors in 1983, the National Capital Region has come to recognize Bishop Hamilton Montessori School as a leader in education beginning at 18 months of age and continuing through to grade eight.

As School Director, I am proud of our student-body and the BHMS community at large. The school community has created an environment that strives for excellence not only within the classroom but also when looking outwards to the world around them. BHMS students and graduates come to appreciate the vast and diverse world around them through studying different cultures and through participating in charities both locally and internationally.
