Camp Tamakwa is a children’s residential summer camp located 2.5 hours north of Toronto in beautiful Algonquin Park Ontario.  Tamakwa's rich traditions, family atmosphere, and unique site distinguish itself along with our diversified program of over 20 activities and our premier canoe tripping program.

For over 77 years Tamakwa has been providing campers from across North America a chance to develop important life skills, build self confidence, foster lifelong friendships, embrace traditional camping values and return home with an enriched outlook, that there is life and fun without facebook, twitter and YouTube!

We offer 4 or 8 week sessions for campers 7-16 along with a 2 week Junior Tamakwan program for campers 7-9.   We also hold a new 1 day teaser session for campers ages 6-10!
