Scratch Game Design for 10-12 year olds

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Skill Development: Coding, Logical Thinking, Game Design, Creativity

Classes run through the school year in blocks/sessions of five classes. 
Kids can join up at any session or at anytime, cost can be prorated.

Scratch is a block-based visual programming language. Its intuitive interface helps students learn to think creatively, apply logical thinking, and work independently — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

They will will work through different projects each week, creating a variety of games!

Scratch is one of the best programs for first time coders! Scratch was created by the MIT Media Lab in 2002.

Local times in different parts of the world

  • 6:30-8:30 pm ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time: Halifax, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI)
  • 5:30-7:30 pm EST (Eastern Daylight Time e.g. Montreal, Toronto, New York. Miami)
  • 4:30-6:30 pm CDT (Central Daylight Time: Winnipeg, Saskatoon)
  • 3:30-5:30 pm MDT (Mountain Daylight Time: Edmonton, Calgary, Phoenix)
  • 2:30-4:30 pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time: Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles)
